Description
The newest Hybrid link set! Features skinny titanium rears and front uppers, as well as front lowers made of brass with 4 weight tuning plates. The tuning plates are secured with strong m2 hardware. These get the brass weight even lower than V1, and they also pack more weight on! The 50.5mm front lowers come in at 26g and the 41mm front lowers hit 20g at there heaviest, whereas they can get as light as 10g and 8g respectively.
In typical Nerd fashion, these are some of the most functionally intelligent links on the market. You will not find a more economically priced links with this many features. Due to the redesign of the upper links, these links should be compatible in more situations with little or no modification, though I cannot guarantee fitment with each kit. These should be made to work with most chassis that allow front and rear upper link mounting directly to the frame. The rears can be outboarded or inboarded, though you may need to bend the fronts of the rear uppers slightly depending on the chassis. This is easily done with a pair of pliers.
Bent front links are inferior to straight links for performance as they can hang up easier on obstacles before you clear the front of the skid. The rear links are double bend titanium and are designed to raise your clearance after the skid all the way to the rear drive shaft. This helps to reduce snags on obstacles. The c10 rears are about 4g, deadbolt rears are 5g and the Gladiator rears are approximately 6g. These with the super heavy front lower link combination helps to provide more forward bias naturally, keeping overall weight down and thus increasing performance.
